Arizona Statement

The Association of Test Publishers will hold Innovations in Testing 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona and honor its contract with the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort, which was signed two years ago. Holding a conference in Arizona is certainly not an expression of the political viewpoints of the Association of Test Publishers, nor does it reflect the individual or collective viewpoints of any of ATP's members, leaders or staff. As individuals make their own decision on whether to attend, we hope they will keep in mind that the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort was built, is maintained by, and helps support the sovereign Maricopa Indian Tribe whose history in Arizona dates back 2300 years. The Resort is located on the 642 square mile Gila River Indian Reservation, which is governed by the Maricopa Indian Nation.
